FRIGHTVISION - photos added!
« on: April 08, 2002, 04:53:44 AM »
Just returned from FrightVision in Cleveland. Kathryn Leigh Scott and Marie Wallace were there. Both were handing out new literature about the 2002 DS Festival. There was a lively panel session on Saturday. After the Q & A, The two graceous ladies joined a group of us in the hotel lounge for photos and a chat...fun time!
It is a good day because I am still ticking!

Hi All. I attended the Frightvison Con this past weekend in Cleveland. (good to see you Vam) As Vam mentioned, Kathryn Leigh Scott and Marie Wallace were there as representatives of Dark Shadows. I videotaped the Q&A's of the two Dark Shadows ladies, as well as the two cast members of Angel, Andy Hallet and Mark Lutz who portray The Host and the Groosalug on the show. I also videotaped the Michael Myers cast reunion and the ladies of the Evil Dead panel discussion, as well as taping some short interviews at the tables of David Carridine, Ben Chapman (Creature from the Black Lagoon) and Kenny Miller. (I was a teenage werewolf) I got a very small segment of Linda Blair signing autographs at her table as well. I will be making copies of the video available for sale. For more info contact me at :

Nice to see you Bobubas-I know it has to be a super tape when you consider all the activity you covered at the event including some interesting comments from TLATKLS during DS Q&A as well as that very informal "Angel" panel.
It is a good day because I am still ticking!

Many thanks to VAM for sending photos from the FrightVision event, with more to be posted soon on Stuart Manning's website.

KLS, VAM, Marie Wallace

with Mark Lutz (Groo from Angel)

(These 2 photos have been moved to the Members' Archive)

VAM, if you posed with Andy Hallett, I hope you'll be sending the pic to Stuart.  I think he's fantastic, and it occurred to me that I've never seen him without his "Lorne" makeup. ;)

Sorry Midnite, I didn't get to pose with Andy Hallet. The intention was to get a photo with both. However, Andy (who is gorgeous) got busy with fans. I had to settle for just Mark ;)

Unfortunately, it took MsCriseyde a bit longer to do this because she is engaged in trench warfare over a plagiarism case. A student is too lazy to write his/her own !@#$% paper, and I get tied up in months of meetings and paperwork because I had the unmitigated gall to report him/her to the dean by submitting printouts of the web sites s/he copied and to assign a zero on the paper. Somebody please remind me again what the hell honesty and ethics are good for?

Ok. End of rant.  :-X

Bob's photos have been added to his site:

http://bobubas.topcities.com/index.htm

And, in case anyone was wondering why the Selby site hasn't been updated despite mountains of stuff sitting here waiting to be added, that would be because the university where I teach doesn't require students to take astronomy during the first semester so that they can be divested of the notion that the world revolves around them.

Bitter? Yes. I am.  >:(
