And Elementary continues to be #1 in it's time slot, besting Shades of Blue by 200,000 viewers and American Crime's Finale by 1.8M viewers. And when it comes to the demos, the news at CBS is better than last week because this week the entire night's demos remained steady.

Golf was about 10 minutes late, but I waited in case CBS or local news was shortened.  I didn't think they would, but CBS just signed off and local came on promptly at 6:30.

Opposite the second hour of ABC’s Princess Diana special, Elementary slipped to #2 in its time period when it comes to viewers in the this week's Fast Overnights. But it held off #3 (NBC's Shades of Blue) by 200,000 viewers. And it also gained over the demo it held last week.

I don't know if anyone noticed that Lucy Liu directed last week's episode.  I looked her up on imdb before posting this and discovered that she has done 3 previous ones over the years.  I had never realized that before.

I see that TV By The Number thought Elementary would be canceled too. Seems like they haven't had much luck with their predictions when it comes to the shows we follow here on the forum...
