I've been wanting to cast my votes for the longest time. But since VAM didn't set a deadline for voting and I'm somewhat caught up with board stuff this morning (I wish I could say the same for MB), here goes--
Best Actress - NANCY BARRETT
Best Actor - LOUIS EDMONDS
Best Supporting Actress - MARIE WALLACE
Best Supporting Actor - THAYER DAVID
Best Director - LELA SWIFT
Best Writer - VIOLET WELLES
Best Costume Design - FLORA COLLINS' COSTUMES, especially the resplendent red number (not the one on the MPI tape box, but fancier) paired with the ruby and diamond earrings; I'm seeing her in my mind descending the Collinwood stairway, so it must've been PT Flora, or does anyone know for sure?
Best Scene - Roger stops to announce "We'll be back!" before he and Liz, accompanied by Stokes, abandon the great house (and Liz bothered to turn out all the lights-- a nice touch), and as the camera pans the empty house, it comes alive with grammophone music and maniacal laughter, then rests on a certain self-satisfied ghost...
