I think someone should sent the final results to ShadowGram. . .also, maybe for the DSFEST. . .in that way we might find a few of our issues from another post taken more seriously. . now I have to admit at being surprised how many of **you** voted for Grayson for Best Actress. . i thought it was only Steve, Bette and me. . .???  ;D ;D ;D

Why are you surprised Julia99? I have a real neat clock, which I designed, that has the many faces of Grayson (all her DS characters). We all like Julia in our own special way!
It is a good day because I am still ticking!

Best Actress : Lara Parker/ Angelique
Best Actor :  Johnathan Frid
Best Supporting Actress :  Nancy Barrett
Best Supporting Actor :  Tie for me here .....David Selby/Quinton and  John Karlan/ Willy Loomis

Best Costume Design : Costumes in the 1795 story line
Best Scene : When Angelique put the curse on Barnabas .....we saw how Barnabas became a vampire.

I'm not too familiar with the dirctors or writters names ...so I didn't include them in my vote.  Sorry

<<Hmmmmm, why isn't anyone specifying WHICH role, when awarding the Acting Oscars?  I mean, was Thayer David better as the Professor, or as Ben?  Was Julia Hoffman a leading role for Grayson Hall, but the Countess DuPre a Supporting role? >>

Based on this, I not only vote for Grayson Hall as the Best Actress, but also as the Best Supporting Actress.

Sure, if anyone would prefer to not post their choices on the board, they can be sent to Midnite@dsboards.com .

Actually, anyone that wants to email me about the board is always welcome to do so.

Midnite, did we get any votes off the board?

I've been wanting to cast my votes for the longest time.  But since VAM didn't set a deadline for voting and I'm somewhat caught up with board stuff this morning (I wish I could say the same for MB), here goes--

Best Actress - NANCY BARRETT
Best Actor - LOUIS EDMONDS
Best Supporting Actress - MARIE WALLACE
Best Supporting Actor - THAYER DAVID
Best Director - LELA SWIFT
Best Writer - VIOLET WELLES
Best Costume Design - FLORA COLLINS' COSTUMES, especially the resplendent red number (not the one on the MPI tape box, but fancier) paired with the ruby and diamond earrings; I'm seeing her in my mind descending the Collinwood stairway, so it must've been PT Flora, or does anyone know for sure?
Best Scene - Roger stops to announce "We'll be back!" before he and Liz, accompanied by Stokes, abandon the great house (and Liz bothered to turn out all the lights-- a nice touch), and as the camera pans the empty house, it comes alive with grammophone music and maniacal laughter, then rests on a certain self-satisfied ghost...
