Why have I posted this article about Alec Newman's appearance in Frankenstein here on this board rather than on CE/A '04, where it would normally go? Well, that's because Newman makes some fascinating comments regarding his experience with the DS pilot and its ultimate fate. Check it out: Alec Newman Trades Fangs for 'Frankenstein'

Very interesting glimpse behind the scenes MB - thanks for posting it.  I somehow managed to miss seeing the pilot for the new DS when they showed it at the fest this year.  Do you suppose they might run it again at any future events?

I agree Midnite! Anybody in a mullet - including Carol Brady - is pretty scary! :o

Thanks for posting that link.  Newman's comments on the DS pilot really hit the mark, particularly his words about backstage politics...

Thanks MB...a couple of things...so there's going to be TWO Frankenstein(s)?? I've been seeing alot of commercials on USA, so I 'ass-u-med' that it was all for one. But this article, and I quote:
pastiche

?? Huh????

I wonder why the remake for DS was 'expensive'? Anyone?

Sadly,

Patti :'(

See:
The other "Frankenstein"...
which sez:

Zap2it called it "pastiche" [because it's inspired by Shelley's novel but based on characters created by Dean Koontz] ...

If you look closely at any of the USA ads that are currently running you'll see not Alec Newman but Ivana Milicevic.
