In the second season finale of
Crossing Jordan, Jordan's father was seen standing over the body of the murdered chief of police. In next Sunday's conclusion, she tracks down her unbalanced half-brother, played by Michael T. Weiss, in an attempt to clear him.
As to why they waited until the end of the 3rd season to show the conclusion to the 2nd season cliffhanger, or why they did the disappearing-half-brother trick in between, your guess is as good as mine, but I'll watch MTW in anything.
