The Prop Project, Gold and Red Afghan

The secondary afghan was folded over the back of the sofa in the parallel time drawing room at Collinwood in episode 1016, and later draped over the latest incapacitated person.  There was a limited amount of continued draping in 1017.  I thought the afghan looked very nice with the parallel time sofa.

This afghan was tucked around somebody else on the sofa in the Collinwood drawing room in episode 1035.  Since we see it folded over the back of the sofa only when it's going to be needed, in this time band it must usually be stored somewhere nearby.  Maybe it's put into the secret passageway.  I was going to suggest that it gets stuffed into the piano, but then I remembered that we've heard that piano being played in parallel time.  Or maybe there's a cupboard in the never-seen wall - but that would be boring.

The secondary afghan was neatly folded on the bed in the Tower room in episodes 1044 and 1045.  I thought it looked odd there.  The Tower is the place for refugees and misfits, but the afghan made the room look sort of homey.

This afghan was draped over the sofa at Stokes's place in episode 1065, during 1995.

The secondary afghan is on the lap of Gabriel in 1840 every time we see him in his wheelchair.  The episodes I've noted are 1111, 1112, 1146, 1148, 1154_5, 1156, 1158, 1159, 1160, and 1161, but Gabriel appears more than that, so clearly I was negligent in my noting.

Also we see it on Lamar Trask's chair in episode 1145.  We know they had other blanket entities that they could use, so it seems strange that they used this particular afghan, but maybe they just grabbed whatever was closest to hand.
