Well with all the fanfare about the **new** DS.  .we've seemed to lost track of if, or when, the old show would be picked up by another Network??? Any news?

I saw Dogville and am an appreciator of avante garde, independent film.  .and liked a few of Lars Von Trier's earlier fares but **this** was hard to sit thru. . 3 hours . .there were flashes of brillance but neither Blair nor Bacall are those moments unfortunately. . .Clarkson is very good as always, Kidman delivers an understated, affecting performance, Ben Gazarra is wonderful . .but overall Von Triers needs to find a **new** story . . . the same old same old about a woman being victimized over and over again is quite tiring.

Well from my crib i cried. . oh wait, that's b**chy ain't it??   Well i ache now that certain obvious things weren't resolved onscreen with the actors. . .we have only  the voiceover  . .which some still refuse to accept. . .although that always where it was gonna go. . .

well if bloodsuckers abound there is likely to be a police-nemesis sort and the bloodsuckers need a daytime stoodge .. a willie-sort . . .pretty stock characters.

Scout those were priceless comments. . .It's interesting that they had Briscoe come back(based on the fanmai I've read) but  that they paired him with someone else . .Carolyn.  Given that the storyarch that generated all the "buzz" was with Grayson. .   ..although they did have Chris and Julia running around a lot together trying to find that portrait and CDT but all the sexual tension was gone gone gone. . .

Midnite how funny about CS .. luv that movie.. .when he's entering the Disco.. .really the only film EVER that made my heart flutter and other  uh hum (cough cough) physical reactions. . .I watch CC occassionally and do like it but i hate how they OVER-RELY on music to set the era. . . they could be a little more creative there. . .it used to be the creative thing to do but now it seems easy or am i just too judgemental?  I am an ESTJ . .big J!

Sure i wasted a few hours watching this flick. . . long boring day at work. . i thought it was interesting that Kate Jackson was considered bossy. . .i know "Daphne" was supposed to be a wet blanket not Kate but she did the part so well . .. I didn't think Kate would be so opinionated but it was about 5-6 years after DS.  Of course it was "unauthorized" hey hey

Prof Stokes and Cassandra picked a few of the scenes i would've listed.  I also think the scene where Magda learns about Jennie's children is very affecting .. .Grayson actually cried. . not glycerine or onion tears but real ones. . .good scene between her and Terry Crawford.

Ohh and for those of us at the Fest . ..when Carolyn reads Liz's will and realizes the truth about Vicki. . i think that got to a lot of us. . .Nancy Barrett was just amazing. . .
