One scene? Well, the one that comes to mind is early in the show when Barney spellbinds Vicky with the tale of Josette. Very fine that.

Thanks, that makes sense. I can see how role playing might kind of beat out discussion, which I prefer anyway, so probably why I like this site so much. And I promise to not say Barney made me do it!

Midnight, do you mind if I ask why? No need for a long answer, and just delete this if my asking bothers you, since I am basically just being curious. Personally, I'm not fond of role playing, anyway, though I'm not sure what it is about it that makes me feel that way.

What is the Eastern Standard Time that it is showing now? I thought I was only one hour later and have already been getting it at 9:00 am.

You are amazing. I thought I was doing good to spot Mike Nesmith on an episode of Gomer Pyle.

What is TIVO??
It is a recording device that doesn't use tape, I forget what it DOES use. It is more of a computer, that was why I thought it might do that. It tracks what you like to watch and will record similar programs, if you tell it to. Supposed to be pretty nice, they are still rather pricy.

Gotcha!  That's not Will Loomis.  It's a shot of Karlen in the movie Daughters of Darkness.

Aha! I thought so.

(Stopped short of using pictures of Selby eating chicken in The Girl In Blue).  A bit of a stretch...don't ya think??

Actually.....since we have all this extra time on our hands....maybe we could prevail on you to do a montage of NON-DS work by our favorite people? Sounds delicious to me!

How do you capture the shots anyway? Is it with TIVO?

Carnival of Souls anyone?

Oddly enough, I just saw that for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It was filmed not for from me too...

Barnabas reveals he knows there's a secret panel to Rachel's room and Judith apparently gives Rachel such a look and the icy, "to the best of my knowledge, you have never been in Rachel's room." Heh.

I'm glad that you are acknowledging that priceless moment!

Interesting how Quentin can take any situation and turn it into an opportunity to get laid. Gotta love that.

Yes, I most certainly do....

which sibling set has the greatest age difference: Barney and Sarah or the 1897 family? Who IS older, Judith or Edward? I'm guessing Barney - Sarah have Edward/Judith - Carl beat, but, no wonder we don't see their mama around! Having that brood would do you in!

Obviously a basic understanding of the Constitution or common law was never taught by the Trasks. Burden of proof is not on the defense, but on the prosecution. Tim the Dim is very pretty, but none too bright.

He and our favorite little governess really WOULD be a good pair! [heh]

I'm still with you on this, Cassandra B. And no amount of cogent reasoning could change my mind. Speaking for myself, it's all a matter of how one wants to perceive the character. I'm willing to give Rachel the benefit of the doubt. I wouldn't expect her to act any differently under the circumstances than she has. Put yourself in her place, I say.

It makes me think of the reasoning behind Viki being called dumb because she "doesn't understand". Who on God's green earth would understand all the weird crap that happens at Collinwood? I think "I don't understand" is the single most logical (and honest) statement anyone could give under those circumstances.

Well, we all have our individual responses to characters and talking about it for me isn't intended to change anyone's mind! God forbid, and I know I couldn't change the guys here ANYWAY! [wink2]

I know a large part of my reaction to Rachel is pure jealousy, because I see her as a twit and guys just love her. I'm hoping that noone takes it personally, these ARE fictional characters. [sssh]

As for Vicky being dumb, no, no, no, it is NOT because of "I don't understand." It is about Jeff Clark! [puke]And to a lesser degree Burke Devlin #2.... [twch2]

Do you really think so? If anything it looked like KLS got skinnier to me. I hadn't really noticed to be honest, but in the present time storylines there were days when if they shot her in long profile, it was positively scary.

I was talking about Nancy, not KLS. Sorry, I didn't edit my quote the way I thought I had and it made it confusing. I think KLS looked good in b/w, but is even lovelier in color. She probably was a little slimmer. Damn, I HATE the difference it makes! Especially, since my scales are going the wrong direction right now and I seem powerless to prevent it.

Have you noticed how Nancy's face looks a

KLS looks better now than in the EARLY bw eps.

I hate to say it, but I agree. It may be that color film adds more weight than black and white? Or maybe she put on just a few and on her so small frame it made a difference. I really DO hate to say that, because I hate the way actresses have gotten so anorexic in recent years. I think Buffy looks very unhealthy this year, btw. The gossip rags have a field day with any star that gains five pounds and you would think they were truly obese. But, then they chastise Calista Flockhart for being too thin. I hope I'm not sounding like that.

I think another thing that really messes with NB's appearance is the weird eyebrow thing I have commented on before. They are the wrong color and they are not in the right place. I know some of them did their own makeup, but regardless, someone made a sad mistake when they started painting hers on.
