I've been to East Coast banquets before, so I know what to expect.  My bags are practically packed, and I've included shirts of different sleeve lengths.  I will be wearing a windbreaker on my trip, but with my skin tone, sunscreen is the last thing I need in California!  On the other hand, I may get some shades.......

That was the complete version on TCM.

Satellite radio, eh?  Wonder if I can get Howard Stern.......

David- Wow!  My very own Hollywood tour?  OK- as long as we can get back to the hotel in time for the Vista event.  BTW, Greystone is sacred to me NOT because of the 1991 DS, but that's where Luke & Laura got married on General Hospital!!!!!!

Yes- I'm looking forward to seeing HODS on the big screen!

There's a Subway restaurant across the street?  Perfect!

After decades (!) of attending DS Festivals on the East Coast, I am finally making my West Coast debut this month, barring any last-minute disasters.  Now, what should I prepare for in Burbank?  How are the accomodations at the Marriot and its surroundings?  I understand there's a Denny's across the street, but what else is there?  Should I be wearing a sweater inside the ballrooms, and insect repellent outside?  Should I bring food with me if the restaurants are expensive, and if possible, what snacks?  BTW, I'll be on JetBlue flying in (my first time on a plane!) from JFK- what to expect from this airline?

David, I have to correct you: that was Nina van Pallandt as the heroin addict in the film, she was Virginia's sister Regina Corelli in the story (and mother of the groom played by Desi Arnaz, Jr.), and Dina Merrill played Toni Goddard, the eldest of the sisters.

The DVD DOES have that number, it's the complete director's cut.  And didn't Virginia Vestoff look absolutely lovely?  It's a shame she didn't get more film work during her lifetime than what she actually did.  By all means see her in Robert Altman's A Wedding: she plays Clarice Sloan, the groom's spinster aunt who's having an affair with- you'll have to see it for yourself!   [ghost_wink]

Actually, these are extra, spare items I've amassed over the years.  Hopefully I can dig up more items to sell.

I saw that third one, but couldn't be sure if it was Grayson, so I didn't post it.  Glad somone could recognize her from the back, too!

One of my favorite new websites is Life Magazine's photo archive.  I have discovered a good deal of stuff on Joan Bennett from her pre-DS days, and was hoping for something on Grayson Hall.  Well, there's nothing under her name, but I just finished reading the new Taylor/Burton bio Furious Love.  I decided to try looking for Richard Burton photos, and there's a whole lot of stuff from The Night of the Iguana, and THERE SHE WAS!!!  There is a photo of Burton with John Huston inside the tour bus used in the film, and there's Grayson resting face up inside the bus with her eyes open!  I wonder if Julia99 has seen it yet?

And here she is up close with Sue Lyon:

Annie, I know all too well what you're going through.  My mom has falls every now and then, but fortunately nothing serious yet.

Nothing but the best for our girl!
