Well she's gonna get an announcement when the book comes out! haha!

Also . .Grayson toyed with using the name "Liz Grayson" for a short period inbetween Shirley Grayson and Grayson Hall . . .a select group of friends always called her "Liz". . .

Forgive me but what were the parents thinking?  1956 is a little early for our gal. .she didn't use "Grayson Hall" as a name until 1960.

"Angelique, I have loved you all along and was too blind to realize it.  I know you put this curse upon me, were responsible for killing my sister, putting a spell on my financee so that she would marry my uncle, casting various spells that created a terrible chain reaction that eventually killed my aunt and eventually my mother but I don't believe in  hanging on to petty things . . ." ::)

That made me laugh out loud!  You've stated so well, tongue in cheeck exactly what those NOT in the Angie camp believe . .not to say those of us in the Julia camp think they were destined for one another but that .. well. . .just as you said above. . the **petty** things Angie did would always be there.

Julia, of course.  Underneath that staid tweed exterior lurks a VOLCANO of female passion, seething to let the inner lava fly!

R U confusing the actress with the character?  I watched an early scene recently with a JuliaList moderator . .Julia responds to some bad Barnabas news by patting him on the shoulder and saying "Poor Barnabas". . .The JuliaList gal said,"she's such a virgin" and against my better wishes, i had to agree --Julia seemed awfully awkward with the fella. .. now who's to say that after a few glasses of Bushmills neat Julia wouldn't go wild! (No videos please!)  :P

(Liz runs off to Woodstock with Sebastian Shaw and joins a hippie commune, where lo and behold, Chris, Amy & Sabrina have taken up residence... following Ned Stuart's mysterious demise... so it's up to Barnabas and Julia to rescue Liz from the dubious counterculture. Julia goes mod and gets addicted to uppers and free love. Barn sports more nehru jackets and fringe). Another unexplored soap staple would have been to give current day Barnabas amnesia. Can you imagine having to convince someone that they're actually a 175-year-old vampire? Many lost opportunities, but we do have fan fiction and vivid imaginations.

this whole thought made me guffaw with laughter Sandor!

good notion . .what if. .say Julia came back from one of her adventures you know . ..knocked up or something with uhh oh Petofi's offspring . . then they coulda had a Rosemary's baby/Spawn of Satan  in the present day . . .

okay i'm obviously bored. . .

Ahhhhhhhhhhh Grayson's turn as some mad scientists Arm Candy . . she didnt' have much of a role other than to be his wide-eyed lady friend ..oh but her search of the little girl is a priceless little tidbit.  Otherwise this show very much pales in comparison to its predecessor . ..

Okay . .i'll jump into the foray and raise my bad karma score even more  . .haha CAN'T!

I find Victoria abominabley dull but then . .i find that with most ingenue parts blathering and uninteresting which is why i don't care for them.   And another interesting nonsequiter is thing that Grayson was disappointed at some level she wasn't offered those roles in her youth . .her first role in the New York stage was as a 'coarse ex-burlesque queen named Cleo .." and the little thing was only 19!

Back to Vicki  . .I think of Sierra on As the World Turns back in the mid-80s aside from her haystack hairdo (who else remembers that?!) . .she was constantly being courted/wooed by young Craig Montgomery and older-than-Methuselah John Dixon (aHHH another similarity.)

I'm also going to go further and say that I don't personally think Alexandra M was a very gifted actress--stiff, wooden--sometimes some compassion came through but her ugly sleeveless baglike Orbach dresses always interfer with my viewing of her.  .(Yeah I know Julia's were just as hideous but . ..well you know--)

Isn't this where a certain clever fan speculated Lela's voice coming over the v. o. and saying "OK, Joel, we're ready for the money shot now"??

I'm not sure Lela would know for sure that **was** the money shot ..  [hall2_kiss]

But it's certain a tasty tidbit for us kiddies.. .

I think we all remember where we were, the day Richard Nixon addressed the UN, and made it all okay with the whole world, that we were in Vietnam.

Yes from my crib i cried..."he's a crook! He IS a crook!"

Ahhh...here I am, sitting here at my laptop, procrastinating my French homework away, thinking about DS. Ahhh...I love it.

and the QUEEN, Grayson Hall, come to mind ;),

Grayson Hall

It's good to know that young Ian is sufficiently enlightened to see that some people are just irreplaceable .. but after her turn at the DSFest in Brooklyn a few years back . .i think a mature Donna Wanderly could do wonders with the Hoffman character . .  But of course only if the Queen deigned to allow it . ..
