Barnabas thinks: "Oh no! I messed up the spell. Carolyn's shrinking at an incredible rate! How will I ever explain this to Liz?"

ROTFL.

Ah....sorry.  Don't have that one.

I just realized "No Acting Please" may be a dumb title for this thread.  LOL
It just popped into my head.  It's the title of a book of acting exercises by Eric Morris that
"teach the actor to systematically eliminate his or her instrumental obstacles -- tensions, fears, inhibitions -- and explore the being state, where the actor does no more and no less than what he or she feels."   ::)

Okay....[idontknow]

Here's one:

If you could go back in time and play any character you wanted on the show, who would it be and why?  Or, it doesn't have to be an existing character.  Maybe there's a certain type of character you think a particular storyline might have benefited from.

Then last but not least Barnabas (when not under the curse) so he could at long last get a decent tan! >:D

ROFL.  [thumb]

With HER medical knowledge I don't think you'd be around very long.  LOL

Wow - everybody has such well-thought-out answers.  And practical too!

Mine's a no-brainer (I hate that term).
Don't even know why I bother.   ::)   But naturally I'd like to be stranded with 1840 Quentin and have it be like The Blue Lagoon.  I'd be perfectly happy to watch him build a hut, and spear-fish, etc.  When he wasn't doing that we'd play in the water and make love all over the island.  I'd never care to be rescued.

 ;D

Ya know, I've always wished someone would write some really good fan fiction about 1840 Quentin's adventures at sea.  (Edited of course, by dear cousin Flora)

Do you know what episode number it is?

A favorite couple:  1840 Quentin and his lovely wife Samantha.  Great dynamic between these two.  All the anger and resentment makes one feel warm, cozy and right at home.
(Yes....Connie's in a mood tonight.)

love & light,
CLC

Favorite couple of all time -- MAGDA and SANDOR.  The best.  Wish there had been more scenes with them.  I mean, Grayson and Thayer as gypsy husband and wife -- doesn't get any better than that.

Current Talk '05 I / Re: most annoying d s character

Melanie Collins:  All the fretting, whining and crying - majorly annoying!
Bruno Hess:  Ugh!  Sickening leech so full of himself I'm surprised he didn't explode.
Hallie Stokes:  More fretting and whining and worrying - way overdone.
Angelique:  Could never stand her - evil incarnate.  Self-serving bitch who never gave a crap about anyone but herself.  The constantly batting eyelids and weird puckering with the mouth when she spoke drove me nuts.  Not an ounce of sympathy for her EVER.
Gerard Styles:  Useless poseur with an ugly sneer
Jenny Collins:  Grosses me out
Rachel Drummond:  Ditz

There.  I feel better now.  LOL

Oh hell.  I saw the subject title and thought, "Yeah!  I wanna indulge Patti."
But alas....I've never HEARD of any of these people!  LOL

Martin Sheen beat out John Karlen for the lead in the Broadway production of "The Subject was Roses"

Really?  When did this happen?  That Martin Sheen's in too much stuff.  Ya see him everywhere.  Over-used IMHO.  They should have had Karlen.   :-*

For that matter, does anyone here have any DS related tattoos?

Ohhhhhh yeah.  Mm hmm.
I've got a tattoo of Quentin on my butt.   ;)
(It's always a good idea to have a tattoo someplace where there's lots of room)

From DVD Verdict review:

It's the last gasp of the exhausting eight-month Quentin-centric 1897 plot line
Last gasp?   :P

My favorite in this set occurs during episode 863, when Pansy visits Tate and a window shade goes crashing onto the floor as she enters. It distracts the hell out of both of them.
Oh it does not.

The review doesn't say a hell of a lot, but does say the best part of the release is the interview with David Selby.   :o   (Maybe a slight exaggeration?)  lol

Anyway it lists the price at $29.95.  That can't be right, can it?
