you mean why did she change wigs.  ..those were both wigs. . .

I never realized that! I thought TLATKLS had good hair of her own (?). OK, if you have the eye for it, do tell who else is wearing one. I'm assuming that Julia is back to one, but it certainly is natural looking, and I'm not positive.

OK, Cheryl, now that I have your attention...I have a question for you. I was just at The Internet Movie Database and saw that they now have a picture of your favorite guy. Did you supply it?

He looks quite different in it, it must have been a later shot of him. They still only have the one DS credit, and I know you have mentioned others.

I also looked up Buzz, Michael Hadge. Interestingly, after a very long hiatus from acting (at least apparently) he had 3 credits during the nineties. He was in his thirties when he played the Buzzster.

I don't know I ignore my kids to look up such drek. Oh, wait a minute, it's coming back to me!

I forgot to add:

FINALLY, someone had the balls to actually SHOOT Adam! And about time too. How many times has someone brandished a pistol or rifle at him? Julia was a little over the top with her hysterics over Adam dying from the the shoulder shot. The guy jumped off Widow's Hill and LIVED for crying out loud. I think your precious Barney is safe for the time being!

Coming this fall on a channel in parallel world:

                  CSI: Collinsport

starring all the actors that left hit shows to make it big.

Hey, that sounds GREAT! Doesn't it seem odd that they would have Mr. Wells dripping with blood and then NONE from Adam's gunshot wound today (in spite of Prof. Stokes' pantomime of wiping it off his hand)?

I don't have to hear Adam's voice again? All through today, I kept thinking, he's got to be gone soon.... and then I come here and there is the montage! Yippee!

In SPITE of Adam AND Jeff/Peter, today's shows were really wonderful. So much happening.

Earth to Carolyn and Prof. Stokes: Exactly HOW many times does Adam have to kidnap and try to kill innocent people before you realize that he isn't really a sweet teletubby at heart? He has a few moments in which he seems pleasant, when everything is going his way. This was true of Ted Bundy too. It doesn't mean anything.

Can't you just hear it if Carolyn HAD married him?

Adam: "WHAT?! You are going to Bangor AGAIN with your mother? You have too many clothes NOW! I think I will have to kill your muthhheerrr!

Carolyn: "Ohhhh, Adam, don't talk that way. I could almost think you are serious. A girl can never go shopping enough. Perhaps I'll get you another sweater."

Adam: "I mean it! I'll kill her! You have hurt me and I will get back at you!.....   A sweater? You would buy me a sweater? Can I go too?"

BARNABAS: Carolyn, what happened to you?

CAROLYN: Oh, Barnabas! Adam's gone crazier than a sh**house rat! He choked me until I passed out and carried Vicki away.

BARNABAS: No, I mean what happened to your hair.

CAROLYN (suddenly self-conscious): I'm...I'm just parting it down the middle now.

BARNABAS: Well, I absolutely hate it! Get some granny glasses and a long quilted skirt and you'll look like one of those hippie girls I see running around Bangor.

CAROLYN (pissed): Thank you, Mr. Blackwell. You wanna go save Vicki now?

I'm speechless. This is perfection.  [angl2]

OK, I get the clothing. But, WHAT WERE WE THINKING WITH THE CENTER HAIR PART?????

What an unflattering style, why couldn't we see that in the mirror?

Collinwood sure has a huge number of unsolved homicides. The board on the wall at the station must look really bad! It is a good thing they didn't have DNA testing then.

The way his vampy tongue was a-flailin', I thought the undead handyman was going to give the New Vicki what Anya on Buffy calls "the pleasure moment".

[lick]

Oh, is THAT where he wanted to bite her?! NOW, it makes sense! Thanks for the hearty laugh.

Although not entirely successful, I highly enjoyed Angels and Insects, which was adapted from another novella by Antonia Byatt, author of Possession.

I am in agreement with you abut Angels and Insects, I thought it an excellent adaptation. A novella is much easier to make into a movie though, no condensation is needed. That was such a strange story that I was surprised it was made into a movie at all.

Another EXCELLENT movie from a book was Persuasion by Jane Austen. The absolute best of the Austen movies and there are several good ones. (Mansfield Park, however, is disgusting.)

Oh yeah, but THAT was totally different. Ummm, I think, wasn't it? No?

Well, he has obviously tremendously improved as a person in that amount of time and now sees Maggie as more than a means to his own ends. That or the ends aren't for him, and that makes all the difference? [wink2]

I was really struck by it also. It is so hard for children to act "natural" in the spotlight. And she did the troubled child just right, not overdone at all-with the underlying cause of sadness being understood. Bravo!
