WHHOOOOSSSHHHH! They used to go over my house 2 or 3 times a year when I was in Prescott Valley, Arizona. They make a sound that is like no other. The sound would wake me up and I would run into the yard to see them. Way cool, I would LOVE to go up in one. I am scared of heights, but not at all the same thing for me.

The only accident I have heard of is when one had a tank dislodge and broke someone's leg. That could have happened anywhere though.

If you really think you wouldn't enjoy it, then by all means give him a big kiss and wave prettily.

Just when you think he couldn't be more irritating, he proves you wrong.

You said it well!

Current Talk '02 II / Carolyn and David
« on: October 11, 2002, 03:37:33 AM »
She "catches" him with a book on ghosts and wonders why he's interested? Ummmm, Carolyn dear, that is the most NORMAL thing we've seen in David.

When he asks if she's ever seen a ghost, she says "Why, have YOU?" Hello? You were there when Davey was making noises to anyone who would listen that all of his best friends were ghosts! C'mon, it hasn't been THAT long. For Davey's pals, Josette and little Sarah come to mind. I can't remember if he saw Bill Malloy or not, I know Vicky did. Any others since the beginning up to now? Other than Beth and Quentin, of course.

Current Talk '02 II / Re: TOP TEN SIGNS YOU'RE IN COLLINSPORT, ME
« on: October 11, 2002, 03:15:57 AM »
Oh, there are some REALLY good ones here. My favorites are about the lack of snow and "If you lived here, you'd be dead by now."

I always find it amusing that the same episode always has one woman in sleeveless dress, one in a sweater, and then someone comes in with a coat on. Seasons are like bathrooms in Collinsport, non-existent.

Interesting, I had the same thought today. On one hand, they are crappy quality and it isn't as though someone would be marring a classic that was meant to be B/W.

On the other, I thought today's beginning with Amy's entrance was very dramatic in B/W.  If a really good job could be done, I guess I'd go for color, but it's quite a close call for me.

Did I forget anyone?

Well, yes, but I am thankful that you forgot the ones you did! Superb casting, it would have been great.

I think he has the right idea....as he grows older he will find a mentor in Dr. Hoffman and grow up to take over Wyndcliff. Especially since he will then be able to stay at Collinwood all the time!

Or he could follow in Daddy's footsteps. What exactly does Roger DO anyway? He can "go to the office" when he feels like it and go on lots of business trips.

Current Talk '02 II / Re: TRICK OR TREAT????
« on: October 09, 2002, 04:40:37 AM »
Collinwood: Mrs. Johnson would hand out homemade treats grumbling all the while. Noone would come back after tasting her boiled salt water taffy.

Old House: Willy, would hand out treats, getting more and more agitated. "But, BarnaBUS, what are we gonna DO? I ran out of Baby Ruths and th...th..the kids HATE candy corn!"

Blair House: Adam, being appreciated for the first time in his life, happily getting compliments on his looks, until someone slips and says "Great mask" whereupon he rips their heart out and hands it to the next trick or treater.

At the cottage: Chris turns out the lights and pretends to not be at home. The effect is rather ruined by his saying "Who is it?" each time...

Current Talk '02 II / Mr. Juggins
« on: October 09, 2002, 04:28:38 AM »
It took a possessed child, but everybody now knows abut Naggie. Even Chris and Carolyn could look at each other thinking the obvious: "Is it possible she could be THAT stupid?" And Chris could add the thought, "Wow! She's even dumber than ME!" Mr. Juggins is brainier.

And that Quentin, what a cutup. He definately has what I am looking for in a a man, a SENSE OF HUMOR. Nice smile, good laugh, yup that's it.

(Oh wait, a minute I'm forgetting that the last time I fell in love with someone who made me laugh, I ended up married to a clown.)

Thank you for the warning. It does tend to take one by surprise when they pop up. Better than rewinding the tape, sitting down with anticipation and finding a marathon of some stupid 80's program though!

It's especially appalling when you consider the fact that Professor Stokes, by this time, has long been well aware of the dangerous supernatural things that go on at Collinwood. If it were my niece, I'd do everything in my power to keep her away from that place, not send her off to live there!

Well, he didn't mind taking in Adam and spending all his spare time on educating him! The only excuse I can think is that young adolescent girls give him the heebiejeebies, though man-made monsters without a soul don't.

I'm sure that it isn't a total coincidence, though it isn't related in an obvious way. My guess is someone was or is a DS fan.

Saw that and I think it is a nice touch.

Cheryl, you could always add an additional picture of Craig when you post. I doubt very much that anyone would have one that you don't, unless it is from a screen capture.

I got a kick out of yesterday's exchange between the Sheriff and Chris after Barnabas called to tell him that he and Chris had been drinking all night.

Another thing that struck funny about Patterson, was how he sounded like "Why didn't you just TELL me you were plastered! HELL, drinking and passing out is a GREAT ALIBI!" I think we all know what the good sheriff does in his spare time now.

CRAZY JENNY - Gyspies, Tramps & Thieves- Cher

BETH CHAVEZ -Long, Long Time (And I did everything I could to try to make you mine, and I think Im gonna love you for a long, long long time)  Linda Rondstadt

ANGELIQUE -Im Gonna Make You Love ME! By Supremes

AMANDA HARRIS -She's Gone!  Hall & Oats

RACHEL DRUMMOND - He's A "Smooth Operator"- Sade

LAURA COLLINS -Im Burning Up(for you love)  Madonna

They are all great, Cassandra! Did you see the new show "Haunted" or something like that on UPN with Matthew Fox? That Linda Ronstadt song was a prominent part of the plot. I had to go buy her "Very Best of" cd after hearing it! I always did love that song. But upon hearing the cd, I decided "Heart Like a Wheel" is my favorite!
