Well . .i think i asked this same question a few months ago .. when discussing the sheer NUMBER of handbags Julia has + her black doctors bag. . . she has the following items in one or both bags:
**cigarettes & fancy lighter (some med school grad gift from an admirer)
**eyeliner (for touch ups)
**alcohol (for Roger or Quentin)
**diaphram (just in case one day Barnabas changes his mind-she IS always prepared!)

oh yea and medical supply stuff. . .e.g. the hypo you see to your left. . .a nice B.I.G. hypo

And interesting topic. . i am in the middle. . not too skeptical but not a whole-hearted believer either.  I do believe in ghosts, particularly after my recent stay in a 15th century house in Belgium. . .those dreams were **too** real. .  :o  And while after reading the Vampire Lestate in college, I wanted there to be vampires. . i just don't think there really are any. . .not like Barney anyway.

I have always wondered where the stakes are kept?  Everyone gets them so easily. . .Angie, Julia, PT- Hoffman. ..find a member of the living dead? Go the the sw corner basement of Collinwood, stakes by the dozen .. .wood leftover from the original construction. . .

Wellllll I'll put in my 2 cents. . . Joanna Goeing was good and i liked how they combined the Josette/Victoria character right away .. Maggie was someone else entirely.   The clothing and interiors were very nice too.  Jean Simmons as Elizabeth/Naomi was fine but Ben Cross as Barnabas did not engage me at all.  I thought he was horribly stiff and unsympathetic. . .. All I really remember though.. . .at the time of the revival series was when I first discovered "online communities" . . .there was a group of us from Ohio, New York City and WAsh D.C. talking about the series.  And all the guys (who I later met and they were "normal in every way") kept talking about was how "HOT" Dr. Hoffman was(Barbara Steele-even with the horrible poneytailed hair)!  They all loved Grayson but thought Barbara's rack and Grayson's lovely legs or awe inspriring cheekbones were of two separate universes, e.g. no comparision. . . >:(

It struck me today . .i luv Nancy Barrett and enjoy watching her in most characterization (actually Carolyn was kinda dull towards to the end of the shows run) but stuff around Collinwood seems kinda dull (Nathan, Suki & Millicent) after the rollercoaster ride of Angelique .. .notwithstandings Sarah's sad demise. . . ;)

I can totally understand. . also, Julia's rather racey looks when he comes to 'molest' her.  .. in the woods outside Collinwood and especially the night in the masoleum. . .she didn't protest too loudly until Barnabas found out.  . . I think Grayson must've enjoyed those scenes. . .Sam wrote the first episode. .when Julia gets *it* and the 2 closing eps when B saves her and then stakes Tom but not the eps where Tom keeps calling her and she walks ohh so willingly into his arms. . .too bad it only lasted a week or so.  I wanted Tom to stay and do other naughty things with Julia. . .or me for that matter. . or whomever. . .[chkyg]
