Given that the ethnic actors were bit parts, hardly credited. . i would hardly say TODS (the original DS like TOST) broke any ground at all.  Now the casting of Ms. Hu is a delightful departure in recognizing the mulitfaceted culture of our current populace.

.  I think Frid's Barnabas found Hall's Julia too forward and assertive as well, but that was somewhat subtextual.

wow. . but was Lenore the Jenning kids mother or grandmother?. .they probably werent' that clear but if she was born in 1897. . .and say Chris and Tom were born in 1940ish . .well she could've been either. . grandma or mama .. but Amy being born in say 1955ish. . well I think Lenore had to be Grandma?

Did the character Carlotta wear that extravagant outfit. . i don't remember it in the movie. . .(in the photo Steve alluded to). . i've also seen other pub stills with GH wearing it but don't remember it in the film.   Whereas the outfit label "not in film" seems close to Carlotta's death outfit. .when she jumps

How come Julia only had a handfull of "stunning" outfits and she only seemed to wear them once (or twice for an episode that went over a day). . i recall the black dress with the white collar, the yellow dress with the HUGE collar, the drop waist dresses (when Chris Jennings and she hunted for CDT). . .this one, a few others but no it was back to the horrid plaid dress (she wore thru out the Tom & Jooolia days), the green wool suit. . and others. . .sheesh.   Did Curtis come on the set and scream "Hoffman can't look attractive take that back to Orbachs!"
