Maggie poll revisited with some variations, referring only to the RT Maggie, not to her lookalikes in other centuries featured during the show's run.

I believe RT Maggie became less signficant, though KLS herself became more significant through the PT sequences.   I chose option 3 since we are not taking PT into consideration.

Oh, I agree. I love Maggie as much as you all do. Heck, those of you who know me know that
she's one of my most favorite characters on the show. But once she became governess, she
just seemed to become as docile and dazed as Vicki. That seemed to steal her spark and
to turn her into less siginficant of a character, in my eyes. :( Sad. ~DJ

Please forgive, but I have to ask how this poll differs from this 3-question poll posted earlier in the year--

Re: Maggie Evans poll ( in honor of KLS's birthday today Jan 26)

Following Maggie's most significant role in DS (victim of Barnabas): how do you perceive her significance as a character in DS up to her last episode in DS? ...

I don't know, Barnabas. I just don't know!

I think Maggie became more conspicuous as the show progressed.  Case in point:  she lived at Collinwood.  That alone enabled her to be on the show more often than she had been.  She was in many if not most of the "Game" episodes involving David and Amy pre-1897, and during that time, I think she showed strength and determination in the face of a great evil.  Also, in the Leviathan plot, she was pretty crafty when she
fooled Jeb into thinking she was one of them.
True, she wasn't much of a presence in the Summer of 1970, but really...no one else was, either, except maybe Julia and the Ghosts, of course.
