David holds a special place in my estimation of the show, because he "grew up" with my generation.  The things that the character did/experienced on the show gave us all a child's perspective on the goings on at Collinwood.

wow he looks like Paul Anka! wonder what he is up too he was a great child actor!

You know, he DOES sorta look like Paul Anka!  I believe he's still in the restaurant biz.    8)

I'm not sure if he looks more like they cleaned up Danny Bonaduce or the guy at Santini's who told me about the Pesce specials of the day. "Hey, try the tilapia."   [fish] Either way, remind him its the 40th! He's invited!!!!

His head looked so much more square back in the '60s, now it's round.  Must be the hair  ;D

I was thinking Peter Lorre.  And Paul Anka is actually my name on another board (Millicent knows) but I was named after a dog.

Was it Sarah/Sharon Smythe? I always thought that the lunch service was opened with Denise as his partner. I think they also had a hot plate and offered soups and other dishes.
    BTW, I also very much agree that David H was essential  [9050]  to the success of the show. As I've stated before, he allowed us little boys to "project" ourselves into the series. David was OUR vicarious character. I may suppose that Denise and Sharon did the same for the young ladies in the audience.

It *was* Denise, not Sharon.

And yes, Louie looks absolutely DAVOON in that picture!   :P

He does look something like Bonaduce!  Imagine that picture with the same hair style and his looks haven't changed that much.  I think he's going to be 50 this year. I always thought that he and Denise were the best of the child actors on the show.

In the picture I found I don't think he really looks like Bonaduce, but the one on Joe's website he definately does!  ;)
