Kate, Jaclyn and Cheryl in NYC
« on: April 15, 2026, 04:54:52 PM »
The 50th anniversary celebration of Charlie's Angels continues on the east coast as Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd will be appearing at The Plaza Hotel as part of The Paley Honors on Thursday May 14th. There will be a cocktail reception at 630pm, followed by dinner and program. While the location is certainly more accessible for us East Coast people, the ticket prices are not. Ticket prices range from $2,000 to $100,000. I'm told that the tickets are tax deductible. I'll be staying home that night

Hey, Uncle Roger,

Maybe the organizers of this upcoming Charlie’s Angels 50th Anniversary Celebration will come up with something especially creative and exciting for the assembled Charlie’s Angels fans there to enjoy, like:

“Diva Vodka with Sabrina, Kelly and Kris!”  (Or Diva Vodka with Kate, Jaclyn and Cheryl, if you prefer.)

F/Y/I: Diva Vodka goes for “only” one-million dollars per bottle. (I wonder, then, what a glass of the stuff goes for?) 🤔🍸💴💰💵🤑🤑🤑😲?

I've met both Cheryl and Jaclyn. Both were very classy and gracious. Cheryl was at Chiller Theater. Jaclyn was at a furniture store. One of my friends told me a hilarious story about Jaclyn's appearance at Bloomingdale's NYC store back in the late 1980's/early 1990's. Jaclyn had a fragrance that she was promoting and had agreed to appear at the store to promote it. She was supposed to be there for a week, doing the meet and greet thing.
Until...
On the first day, she looked up at the line and saw a guy with his face painted blue waving what appeared to be a butcher knife. No security in sight. Jaclyn told whoever was in charge, said i have to leave now and promptly left the store and  did not return for the rest of the promotion.
I can't say that i blame her..
