HODS
« on: October 12, 2025, 02:21:42 AM »
I am currently watching  Hpuse of Dark Shadows. IIRC, the last time I watch thos was 1976.

I didn't know certain actors Sabrina , Roger Davis  were in this.
Wasn't R. Davis busy with Alias Smith & Jones?
I no longer have a working computer,  so this boards going to take me a bit to get used to.
Ah, well, thank God Sabrina is already dead.

Roger had gone to Hollywood by then and was working fairly regularly. Lots of voice overs. Which included the opening narration to Alias Smith and Jones. He also made one onscreen appearance on the show during its first season. But he did not start playing Hannibal Hayes until after the tragic death of Pete Duel. Duel died on December 31, 1971 and production resumed almost immediately. Roger started by refilming scenes for an unfinished episode that Duel had previously started. For episodes that were further along in production, veteran voice actor Paul Frees (the voice of Ludwig von Drake and Boris Badenov, among others) to dub Duel's voice.
