Hard to believe that this is the 50th anniversary of the premiere of Little House On The Prairie, a series that I have managed to avoid for just as long. The ever industrious TLATKLS make a guest appearance on an episode back in the day and she will be on hand for an anniversary in Hartford, Connecticut, from August 30-September 1. The event will be held at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. The tickets for the meet and great are a reasonable $20. Each session runs from 10am to 4pm. There are other events throughout the weekend but each one has a separate charge. Some of the other activities are more than a little pricey. Breakfast with the actors goes for $100. Dinner goes for $195.
There will be other related events throughout the rest of the year, in such places as Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Corsicana, Texas and Johnny Cash's farm in Tennessee. At present, Kathryn will only be attending the Connecticut event. So make sure that you are buying tickets for the proper event since all sales are final.
