Svengoolie’s List of Must-See Horror Flicks is Here for July on MeTV
Don’t miss these highly requested movies!I watched
The Angry Red Planet, and I find it hard to imagine it's a movie that's "highly requested." Mind you, it wasn't bad - in fact parts of it were quite interesting, particularly the way the footage during which they explored Mars was shot. But having seen it once, I wouldn't necessarily ever watch it again. But maybe that's just me.
On the other hand,
Munster Go Home is just silly enough to possibly improve with each viewing because the gags are a hoot. And I can definitely see it being requested.
And what vampire fan doesn't want to see Bela Lugosi's 1931
Dracula often? It may not be perfect, but it's pretty darn close.
And closing out the month is 1959’s
Killer Shrews. I have to confess I know nothing about it, so I'm curious to watch it, particularly because opions about it seem to range from it being on a level of an Ed Wood movie to it actually being good. So, one has to wonder if it's requested simply to laugh at it or to actually get into it...
