I noticed I was closing in on it.  I thought it was probably 120, but the other day I noticed someone with 119 who was a Full Member.  So, when I made my last response, I made sure to check, and I've finally arrived!

I think VAM must be almost at the next level!!

Depending on how many posts she makes each day, VAM could reach Senior Member in as little as 11 days. Unfortunately, though, it doesn't come with any sort of discounts. She'll have to wait for those until she becomes a senior for real.
(At least I assume she's not a senior yet. Are you VAM? And before you answer that, keep in mind that AARP considers someone a senior once they've reached 50. Worse yet, the other day I saw an ad on TV for "final expense" insurance that was targeted at people born in 1962! I guess these people figure that once you hit 40 it's all downhill from there. )

And we're very happy that you're so enthusiastic. But you do have to admit that some members are way ahead of the pack. There are currently 157 registered members on the forum. And in the current list of most frequent posters (exempting Midnite and myself), this is where you ladies place:

#1 VAM - 435
#3 Raineypark - 192
#6 Josette - 123
#7 Julia99 -  122

And don't forget that jennifer (#2 w/ 216), Luciaphil (#4 w/ 191), Cassandra (#5 w/ 135), ROBINV (#8 w/ 119) and Ringo (#9 w/ 119) are also Full Members , with AllenCollins, Chris_2, Gothick, Nancy & Birdie all within 20 posts and nipping at your heels. I guess you'll have to start making some room in that "Inner Circle."
But think of it this way, soon there'll be someone to take VAM's place once she moves on to even loftier heights. (And it'll be more than a month before any other members even have the possibility to join her. But you know what they say VAM - it's lonely at the top. )

While we're on the subject of posting....I'd like to wonder out loud why there are so many people listed as members who have never, ever posted anything.

If you go through the trouble of actually becoming a member, wouldn't you want to put your 2 cents in once in a while?

I know I've said this before....if you read us, you can tell that we're not judgemental or critical so there's no reason to fear being jumped all over for what you say.

We're frequently witty and erudite,  but we're just as frequently silly and sophomoric.   I hardly think we're intimidating!!

So....what do you suppose prevents all those other members from posting, just ONCE in a while?
