MB; one year when money was particularly tight, all of the family Christmas presents came from the S&H Green Stamps catalog.
.The first time that I ever heard of Joan Bennett was her appearance as the hostess of The Triple S Blue Stamps catalog around 1963/64. The catalog featured pictures of Joan in her very chic NYC apartment, surrounded by items that she could have gotten by pasting those Stamps into books.
