VCR/DVR/TIVO Alert!
« on: April 28, 2006, 02:34:40 PM »
The Daytimes Emmy's will air tonight from 8-11 PM on ABC.  They will be doing a tribute to Ruth Warrick and as such there will probably be some All My Children footage that may include Louie Edmonds as Langley Wallingford.  Set those VCR's, DVR's and Tivo's.   8)
Buzz-isms:

"I like the bike I got, & the chick I got!"
"I know just the place!?Over in Logansport!"
"If ya feel it, SIT it!"
"Come on, before he offers me a side car too!"
"Her nose needed some powder!"
"You askin' me to give up something I like?"

No tribute, but DS alum Ellen Wheeler (Phyllis Wicke, 1991) was present though she didn't nab another Emmy, this one as Executive Producer for Guiding Light.  So she acts, directs, produces...

And of course anyone that attended last year's Fest recognized the "fan zone" as the Babylon Court at H&H.

Well, after alerting all of you to this airing, guess who forgot to tape it themselves?!  DUH!!!   ::)  Guess I was too wrapped up in my Washington Nationals to remember to set the VCR.  Hey, when they WIN it's a big deal, LOL!

Anyway, to anyone who DID watch it, did they do an IN MEMORIUM to all the ppl from soaps who died last year and if so, was Don Stewart from Guiding Light included?  That's really the main reason I'd wanted to watch.
