New Christmas Theme

The new Christmas Theme is new in as much as we haven't used it in years. However, the one we were using no longer works since our host upgraded PHP, so I went looking on SMF's Web site to see if they were offering any interesting Christmas Themes and I came across this one again and (obviously) it does work. So far the only changes I've made to it is to add the various slideshows, but there are some things that I don't like. For one, I'm not happy that quoting isn't in a box so that we know both where quotes begin and end. Also, it's weird how only some stickied topics have a different background color to distinguish them as stickied. I'll be looking into both of those things as soon as I have the time...

I've made a few changes and things look much better to me. But if you see something that looks a bit off to you, feel free to post about it and I'll look into it.

Up at the top on the page, where it greets you with "Hey, (Username)," that's followed by "you have (number) messages, (number) are new." Click on the "(number) messages" part.

Ok missed it. Thank you. But gotta say, its pretty looking but kinda frantic and distracting - especially working off a tablet.  Not a fan but maybe that's just me.

By the way, the new message at the top also says that I've been logged in for 61 days, 10 hours +.  While I don't know how many years that covers, and of course I enjoy this very much, still, over 61 days on it does sound like quite a waste of time!!!

   To put things in perspective, that time logged in has been over a period of more than 20 years (close to 21). In fact, you've been a member for 7605 days and your time logged in averages to only 19.4 minutes per day.    Contrast that with me - I've been logged in for 1030 days 19 hours and 39 minutes over a period of 7606 days, which averages out to 3.2 hours a day.    Though of course, I'm not just reading/posting, I'm also doing administrative and system managing work...

MB, Thanks for the perspective - I had no idea it was 20 + years!!!  That does sound better.  Obviously with all of the work setting things up and fixing problems, etc., yours would be considerably more, but then, you're actually doing something!
