Do you mean the artwork or the keepcase? Did they change the case again?

If it's the same as the previous slimmer cases, I don't mind it at all. I prefer it completely over the original blocky things that the early sets are packaged in.

I forgot that it was released today, which is a rare thing for me. I know it continues the present time 1970 storyline so I'm not in much of a rush to get it.  :-

Set 1 is in the lid under the papers and collector's card it comes with.  I almost thought it didn't include set one and was about to send it back.  However, in restropect I like it better because it keeps set one in a nice secure place.  It is the same width as the others.

The set is actually only a little of 1970.  It then picks up by disc 2 with 1840.

Cool. As long as it looks uniform with the others when I put'em on my shelf, I'm fine with whatever they do.

So, which episode #s does it include? It's gotta be getting close to the end...

Episodes 1102-1142 are included with Set 23.  Set 24 will include 1143-1182.  We are pretty close to the end.

If there are going to be 40 episodes, Set 24 should include Eps #1143-#1185 because there are three double-numbered episodes (#1154/1155, #1174/1175, and #1179/1180).  ;)

Well you'll have to take it up with MPI.  I got the numbers from their site.

If there really are going to be 40 episodes on the set, then shame on them.  >:(  And if so, it just goes to show that fans shouldn't necessarily trust the info on MPI's site.  ;)

According to Amazon it does.

Amazon does list the episode numbers 1143 to 1185 for set 24.  MPI is then incorrect with 1182.

Go figure.

I've got 23 the other day.  Yeah they changed it, but they always do.  Go figure.  As long as the episodes are great, and they are, I, don't worry about the packing.  The only time I ever caused any fuss, was a while back, and Barnabas has just been turned into a vampire and his father, Joshua had called in Bathia Mapes, and to make a long story short, they had 'cut' her bloopers out of the episode. Now that made me mad.

I wonder why they changed the packing...it was fine the way it was.  The only set I had any trouble with packing-wise was Set 3; I found it almost impossible to get that first disk out of the case so much so that I actually broke/cracked the disk.  Needless to say, I was quite upset when that happened, for some of my favourites were on it:  Sea View, first colour episode, Julia's wacky experimentation, etc.  If I ever have $50 to spare, then I'll re-buy it, but right now...no.  Oh, and it's nice to be back at the forums after a few weeks' hiatus.
