OT: The King of Queens ( Dark Shadows episode)

For those who might be interested, FYI network will be showing The King of Queens episode entitled Cowardly Lyin today at 9pm. It has to do with Doug's friend who wants to go to the Dark Shadows festival but Carrie turns his girlfriend against letting him go and the scheme he comes up with thru Doug to try and go. Pretty funny stuff.

Sounds like it would be a fun ep to watch. Unfortunately though, my cable company doesn't carry FYI. But for those of you who may watch thanks to patrickm's heads up, enjoy.

Some good news MB. CMT also carries K of Q and they are just behind the running order of FYI.  They run 6 episodes weekday afternoons and if the pattern holds true, they should have Cowardly Lyn on Monday May 9th  2pm.

I caught this episode while channel surfing during the original run. It was the first time I'd ever heard DS mentioned on a TV show. I got a big kick out of it.

I looked up the ep on IMDb to find the date it aired so as to help narrow down searching for the topic. I was surprised to see this in the trivia section for the ep:

On March 12, 2021, the cast got together via Zoom to table read this episode together to support the Henry Street Settlement

So I searched to see if the video of the Zoom is available on YouTube, and sure enough it is:

I’ve seen quite a few reruns, but not that one.

Too bad it’s not on any streaming service I have.
