Kathryn Leigh Scott Tarrytown Event

It hasn't been posted on the Lyndhurst site yet but Kathryn Leigh Scott announced via Facebook that she would be appearing at Lyndhurst this October. Not too much information has been posted, other than the date, Sunday October 30th, from 12 noon to 5pm. But I imagine that the details will be similar to her appearance last year.

The information for this event is now posted on the Lyndhurst site. The cost of admission is $20. This entitles you to admission to the outdoor tent, which will feature a meet and greet/book signing with TLATKLS. There will also be some DS memorabilia on display. The hours are 11am to 4pm. Masks are recommended but not mandatory.

The admission price does NOT include a tour of the mansion.

I had thought that maybe her gig had been cancelled because it had been taken down from the Lyndhurst page but it is back up.

The format has been adjusted. Now the meet and greet and booksigning is $10 (which includes the grounds fees) but now also she will be conducting 2 tours of the house for $40 each. They don't have to be bought together. I think this is a better way to go since many DS fans had planned to attend but Bobubas's Seaview Terrace gathering was moved from late October to Labor Day week because of filming schedule changes from the Gilded Age crew using the house as headquarters. As a result, a lot fewer DS fans will be able to attend but they can stll do business with the Tarrytown Halloween crowd.

This event looks to be great fun. Gerard and the long-too-absent Ringo Collins should be there to see Ms. Scott. Heck, even I will drive up from the New Jersey shore to Tarrytown to see the beautiful Maggie Evans in person once more.

Kathryn announced that her two guided tours have sold out. She hopes that they will be able to add more. It does show that people are eager for more DS events.

Kathryn asked if fans would be interested in attending a tour on Monday, late morning or afternoon.

Update: two tours and a meet and greet have been added to Monday, which is Halloween. Trick or treat!
