Seaview Terrace Sale

[Mysterious Benefactor]

It's probably no secret to most that the Careys have put Seaview Terrace up for sale because the news of an impending sale swept through DS fandom before the listing had even been posted on the real estate site. But now not just DS fans in the area will be clued in because today's edition of the Providence Journal has published an article on the front page of its Home section. It starts on the front page but then moves to a full page on the inside of the section. And as such I'm going to have to share it in sections because there's no way for me to scan the whole thing in one piece. Enjoy!

This article is also available online at providencejournal.com, however, only to subscribers. Though a trial 6 month subscrtiption is only $1. But even if you don't want to commit to that, if you go to the Web site you can currently see a much better version of the color shot of the house. I have no desire to subscribe and I don't know anyone who has, so I have no idea if the other photos were included online or if they were, if they were posted in color or B&W. But interestly the online version was apparently posted on the Web site at 5am ET yesterday morning.

Apparently the other photos (and perhaps others) are available on the Web site because I just scrolled down to the bottom of the Web site's home page and discovered an associated link to a gallery of Seaview Terrace photos. Though, again, it's only available to subscribers...

I think us DS Forums members should all chip in and buy it!  I'm sure with a few bake sales and car washes we can raise the 29 mill. 

I still remember that glorious but appropriately dreary and grey day when I got to visit it, both inside and out.  It's one of those wonderful memories no money can buy.
