Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Mr. Corman Wonders If He 'Sucks as a Person' in First Trailer for Apple TV+ Dramedy

Shamefully they don't include DS as one of the shows he kicked off his career on as a child actor...

Oops - I missed posting this yesterday:

WHAT TO WATCH: Joseph Gordon-Levitt Is ‘Mr. Corman,’ ...

"If it’s Friday, it must be a busy streaming day. Give an Apple to Mr. Corman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s return to TV as star-writer-director."

Mr. Corman
SERIES PREMIERE
Apple TV Plus
Returning to TV in his first starring role since coming of age on 3rd Rock from the Sun, the appealing Joseph Gordon-Levitt is also creator, writer and director for this passion project. The dramedy’s flawed hero is a 5th-grade teacher in L.A. who’s still learning to cope with disappointment in his personal life and professional musical ambitions, trying to keep anxiety and panic at bay—not easy as a pandemic rears its head.

I didn't realize until I just watched my recording of it that JGL was on Late Night with Seth Meyers last night. Check out the YouTube video:

CNN has been doing a series of "History of the Sitcom" and tonight was about outsiders.  There was a segment on "3rd Rock."  Joseph wasn't featured, but there was a glimpse of him in one scene.  I don't know if it was deliberate or a coincidence, but in the commercial group after that segment was a promo for Mr. Corman

WHAT TO WATCH
..., ‘Mr. Corman’ Becomes ‘Mr. Morales,’ ...

"A special episode of Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Mr. Corman shifts focus to his roomie, Victor (Arturo Castro)."

Mr. Corman
Apple TV Plus
The fourth episode of Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s affecting dramedy suddenly becomes “Mr. Morales” for a week, giving welcome new insight into the world of Josh Corman’s friend and roommate, Victor Morales (the terrific Arturo Castro). The supporting player takes center stage, and Castro is up to the challenge, warmly playing the single-dad UPS driver who’s desperately trying to connect to his abrasive 13-year-old daughter and show her he’s not the loser she seems to think he is. It’s a great showcase.

Inside Friday TV:

Double the Juno Temple: The fabulous Emmy-nominated co-star of Apple TV+ hit Ted Lasso shows up again on the streamer in a powerful new episode of the dramedy Mr. Corman. ... On Mr. Corman, she’s Megan, the ex-fiancée of Josh Corman (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), emotionally reuniting at a fellow acquaintance’s funeral. There’s a lot of unfinished business, some of it musical, to be hashed out — most awkwardly in the presence of her mom (Lucy Lawless).

WHAT TO WATCH:

Mr. Corman (streaming on Apple TV+): So Josh Corman’s (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) life hasn’t turned out exactly as he’d hoped. For the next half-hour, he’ll live a series of alt-realities in a surreal Twilight Zone of what-ifs.

WORTH WATCHING:

Mr. Corman (streaming on Apple TV+): In the penultimate episode of this deeply personal character study, Josh Corman (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) confronts his daddy issues with his estranged musician father (Hugo Weaving). Gordon-Levitt is also executive producer of Apple’s new animated series Wolfboy and the Everything Factory.
