Most of the spells were cast fireside at the Old House, Big House, or caretaker's cottage. All the fireplaces aided in a fair share of mischief. However, which one do you feel proved to be the most popular (memorable event) and why?

That's a tough one VAM - I remember there being lots of them but the actual spells are kind of fuzzy. I don't know if this was the most popular fireside incident but I'll go with the first time (I think) that technique was used or at least began to evolve with Laura zoning by the fireplace in the cottage.  I don't know if she was technically casting a spell (ala Angelique) but I know at some point she was trying really hard to draw David into her world.   [flmthrw]

One of the most memorable for me is when Quentin and Evan Hanley were attempting some kind of spell and Angelique appeared out of the flames.

after which she gave it to Ben Stokes to drink. He then became her slave.

I also remember another fire spell when Angelique/Valerie was looking into the fire at Collinwood while she was trying to figure whose body Judah had possesed.

This was the scene that the watch fob (one of my favorite DS props), belonging to Gerard Stiles was used by Angelique to determine if he was Judah. I remember this one...
