Daytime Soaps' Wildest Storylines! - Dark Shadows: Soaps’ First Bite of Crazy

I wouldn't say DS was a bit of crazy. Sure, it featured "werewolves, zombies, ghosts, witches and the only severed hand to ever get more screen time than The Addams Family’s Thing" but it was all based in standard soap plots. I mean, take Chris and Carolyn as an example: Boy meets girl, boy gets girl, boy loses girl (albeit because he's a werewolf), boy reconnects with an old flame, boy gets back together with old flame. Totally (well, except for the werewolf part) classic soap plotting...

And though it's not DS, this is definitely worth a mention because it was quite good, especially the first part of it - and it also helped to increase PC's ratings.

It's just too bad that they didn't stick with the vampire plot longer than they did and didn't become more of an anthology series with several different supernatural plots (although, I also enjoyed the one in which Frank Scanlon went back in time).

And I know some members of the forum loved Passions, but for some reason I could never really get into it - and I did try...
