I think that Joan would have had some very choice words for DC if he had suggested that. 

(  I was thinking of it being more along the lines of it being Joan's idea. After all, just think of some of the things KLS wrote in My Scrapbook Memories about Joan having done in her real life.  )

 

Oh, absolutely. Joan was certainly capable of doing something like that, provided it was her idea. And what a way to upstage Roger Davis!

(  Upstaging RD would have probably been her prime motivation!!  )

 

Which certainly would have elevated her position in the Dark Shadows patheon!!
