« on: June 03, 2020, 08:56:06 PM »
David Selby will participate in Ford's Theatre's livestreaming Cabinet Conversations series on Thursday, June 4, at 4:00 PM ET. He will reunite with Necessary Sacrifices playwright Richard Hellesen and castmate Craig Wallace to discuss interpreting history through dramatic writing and actor portrayals. Necessary Sacrifices explores the relationship between Abraham Lincoln (Selby) and Frederick Douglass (Wallace). The event will livestream on the Ford's Theatre web site and social media accounts. It will include a Q&A session, and Ford's is currently soliciting questions on their Facebook page.

More information and links to relevant sites for viewing the event live (or later at your convenience) are on David's official web site:

David and Craig Wallace read a scene from Necessary Sacrifices. An online reading of the complete play is in the works. Stay tuned.
