Gothick, I remember tuning in at 4:00 that next Monday, too, hoping against hope that the news had been wrong, and DS would be continuing. Alas, DS was definitely over. Needless to say, I had a difficult relationship with Password...

I also remember my cousin running over from across the street at 4:30 on the 2nd, in anguish: "Is that the end of Dark Shadows?!"
