STRANGERS AT COLLINS HOUSE Audiobook
« on: December 28, 2019, 08:23:27 PM »
When the DS audiobook series was first announced with KLS as reader/narrator, I was concerned that they would not compare to other audiobooks that I have heard. Specifically, many narrators do voice characterizations when reading dialogue. I like this because it helps me to follow the different characters.

The first two books in the series did not differentiate between the characters. However—and I am happy to report this—in “Strangers at Collins House” KLS has started doing some characterizations for certain characters. In reading dialogue for Henry Collins, Ms. Scott lowers the pitch of her voice and gives it a slight roughness. She makes distinctions for several other male characters and the one new female character heard so far, as well.

This will make the series much more enjoyable for me.

THANK YOU, KLS!
