What/If

You may be aware that with the new Disney+ streaming service, Marvel is planning a show called "What If" which imagines characters from the Marvel movies in different circumstances than we know them. For example, what if Tony Stark were Hulk instead of Iron Man? Or what if Nick Fury had never been present to help develop SHEILD/The Avengers? How would the story change?

I thought it might be fun to consider this for Dark Shadows. What if Angelique hadn't cursed Barnabas, but he became a vampire because he was randomly bitten by a bat? What if Julia and Angelique switched places? What if entire characters, say Carolyn for example, were absent from the series? How would this change things?

What if David was successful in killing Roger?

Would Liz have quickly married Matthew Morgan for a 'father-figure' for David?

Sam had triplet girls, of course identical....threeeeeeeee ChJosettes for Barnabas.

M. Morgan would've forced Liz to make David attend public school, where he'd get his butt kicked.

Imagine Burke's depression....all that time in prison, then, making his fortune, only to have Roger offed.

Interesting points Patti! Imagine if David had actually succeeded in killing Roger at some point, it sure would've made a good portion of Burke's early storyline practically moot. Who would Burke have taken revenge on? Liz?

And, could you imagine Liz knowing that David killed Roger and covering it up? That would've made for yet another (this time real) reason for a character, maybe even Jason McGuire, to blackmail her!
