Yet Another DS Reference

(And this one is much more pleasant than the second one from the other day - if not a bit bittersweet.)

From Grandmother's a star in family's life story:

When Lorene Amos' life is replayed on the Big Screen, there will be these and a thousand other scenes: making redeye gravy; cracking fresh coconuts with a hammer and nail; negotiating with the Jewel Tea salesman; teasing grandchildren about the old man who, she swore, lived in the attic and rolled pumpkins across the floor at night; watching her "stories" on afternoon TV ("General Hospital" and "Dark Shadows"); dusting the whatnot shelf; taking out her false teeth to the delight of her grandchildren; spending summer evenings chatting with neighbors under the mimosa trees in the front yard.
