Worth Watching: ..., an 'Evil' Twist

Evil (10/9c, CBS): Nearing its own first-season finale, Evil reaches back to its season opener, reintroducing the chilling killer Orson Leroux (Darren Pettie), who's trying to get his conviction overturned with the help of the malevolent Leland Townsend (Michael Emerson). This forces Kristen (Katja Herbers) to go back into court at the worst possible time, as her daughter Laura (Dalya Knapp) is undergoing emergency heart surgery. Back on the fighting-evil job front, a recovering David (Mike Colter) — having survived last week's terrifying ordeal in the hospital — visits a woman seeking spiritual advice and is shaken after witnessing her less-than-pure instincts.

i love the married couple who created this show so i had to give this show a chance when it first came out. i love the good wife and i haven't really watched the good fight just yet, but i love this show it took a few episodes for me to get into it as it started out pretty weak at least i think so or rather i just could not make up my mind on the show.  but i am loving it so far,  it's  just a shame they only are doing 13 this season i wonder how many episodes they are doing next season as it's already been renewed shockingly for season 2.

i say it like that cause most of the time when i want a new show to get renewed it just gets Cancelled.

Worth Watching: ..., 'Evil' Finale, ...

Evil (10/9c, CBS): On the other end of the entertainment spectrum, yet equally memorable, is Robert and Michelle King's (The Good Wife/Fight) clever and chilling examination of the forces manipulating and encouraging our darkest demons in a world of tested faith. In the first-season finale — thankfully, Evil has already been renewed — a mystery at a fertility clinic reveals connections among all of the creepy encounters that forensic psychologist Kristen (Katja Herbers) has experienced this season with would-be priest David (Mike Colter) and professional skeptic Ben (Aasif Mandvi). Kristen even begins wondering about the evil that may lie within one of her daughters, who is found to have visited the clinic.
