As no doubt many of you are aware, the opioid crisis that is affecting the country has been particularly devastating in Appalachia. This is reflected in David's most recent film release,

A Casualty of Indifference. Last week, over
thirty doctors were arrested in a Justice Department operation targeting Appalachia and charged with, among other things, prescribing drugs in exchange for cash and sexual favors.
