Like everyone else, I was wondering what the cause of death was since he was so young and this was such a bolt out of the blue. Wasn't able to locate any details other than your posted link Midnite until now. The sad news is that he committed suicide by jumping off the Cold Spring Canyon Bridge on Hwy 154 in Santa Ynez Valley. My thoughts go out to Jerry and Julia who must be absolutely crushed right now.

While not providing details, the obit Midnite posted did point to the reason. And, yes, his death is a tragedy.
