As I posted a couple of days ago, I could get in.
When I type DSForums, it takes me to the white note I guess MB mentioned (at the bottom of some other text).

When I got in the other night, I clicked on Always Stay Logged In, but just now I had to re-do the login (thank God it remembered my password, which I can't).

Any reason for this?

No. It's the same as it has been since our host moved us to a new server and it's been caused by whatever they did.

The way it works for me is that I click "Login" in the top menu and without entering anything my name appears at the top right, the time is correct for my area, etc.  Then I can select Home or My Messages or whatever I want to access.  So the site IS saving your login info.

Well, just now, it told me I had to enter a name (even though it was already populated with 'Patti').
I just hit enter, came in no prob.

You should be happy - all the specifically holidays-type smileys are gone - though I did add some new winter smileys.  [snow_wink]

Normally I don't take any of them down until after the 6th because that's the last date we still celebrate Christmas (and in fact, I have a Christmas party to go to on the 6th where we'll even be exchanging gifts!!  [8_2_81]). We also grew up celebrating Christmas all the way through the 6th (Theophany/Epiphany), tree and all.  It came down the next day as well as all other decorations.  Several cultures exchange presents on the 6th, rather than 24th/25th.  The Three Kings/Wise Men would bring them.

MB, this is the 3rd computer which states (right now there's a red triangle/not secure).

Why is this?

The other 2 were Windows, I'm on a Chromebook now....

It's because the forum doesn't have an SSL certificate. No one here does transactions with things like their bank or credit card info, so there's really no major need for one.

MB, don't be so sure.  If you-know-who finds something here he doesn't like, he'll call out his army of lawyers and all of us will have to pull up our bank-routing or credit-card numbers.
