The November issue of Toyfare Magazine (#99) is a pupular toy & action figure magazine. In their "Incoming" section on page 28, there are some nice pictures of the new Majestic Studios DS figures, and a nice blurb about the show. Although they mistakenly refer to Quentin as Barnabas' "brother." They have this mag at most bookstores like Barnes & Noble and Borders. Here's what it says...

Dark Shadows
By: Majestic Studios
Release Date: October
Before Buffy, X-Files and Smallville, there was Dark Shadows. For those of you still in the dark (pun intended), Dark Shadows featured vampires, werewolves and other supernatural freaks on a weekly basis from 1966 to 1971, and now Majestic Studios is resurrecting the nearly 40-year-old show with two 12-inch figures of lead character and vampire Barnabas Collins and one of his werewold brother Quentin. If these figures aren't enough to make you want to watch the show, then boy, you're missing some fine television.

Looking at the closeup of 1795 Barnabas, I see they gave him regular shoes instead of boots which is a little disappointing. Maybe it's just for the prototype though.
