Buffy the Vampire Slayer Reboot in the Works, With Black Lead Actress

Shades of Kendra in Season 2. (I really liked her and wished she hadn't been killed off. But I suppose at that point they didn't think they could have two slayers that were both on the side of "good". Faith could hardly have been called good - though she eventually became that way...)

Why doesn't this surprise me? Probably because it's always the first reaction with a lot of fans, regardless of the show being rebooted...
