The CW's Sabrina Series Moves to Netflix With Two-Season Order

This version will be VERY different from the Melissa Joan Hart version as it's been likened to Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist in its tonality and chances are that's why it's moved to Netflix where it will be free to be as gory and scary as it wants to be...

Given the rather explicit content of the comic, Netflix is probably a better fit.

I wonder if it is going to be set in 1963/64, like the comic book. An early plot point concerned Sabrina using witchcraft to get the part of Kim in the high school's production of Bye Bye Birdie. She used the same spell that Ann-Margret used to get the part in the movie. Ann-Margret makes a one panel cameo. Certainly different than when she was animated as Ann-Margrock! [santa_rolleyes]
