Funny, Magnus and Uncle Roger!!  [snow_cheesy]  [bigok]

(Though 1840 is actually some fans' favorite storyline, as evidenced by the fact that it came in #3 in a DS storyline poll back in '98...)

(I like it too, I prefer the time travel stories)

([pointing-up]  It's funny, while they're happening, I really enjoy all the time travel stories, but once we get back to the present I realize how much I'd missed those characters...)

I prefer the contemporary characters. Perhaps it's because they were the characters who were on when I first discovered DS but I have a much stronger emotional connection to Elizabeth, Roger, Carolyn, Chris, Maggie, Joe and the others

([pointing-up]  I started watching about two months before 1795 so the present day characters are the ones I first connected to, too - but I still really enjoy the storylines in the different time periods/bans.)

I enjoyed the other time periods to an extent, except 1840 which I hated then and still do. I loved the bits and pieces of the main time period that they would show us during 1897 and PT1970.

([pointing-up]  Yes, it was always fun with they peaked into the present to show us what was happening!!  [nodassent])
