As TVLand celebrates Nick at Night's 20th anniversary with a 48 hour marathon, you can catch the hilarious Mary Tyler Moore episode "Chuckles Bites the Dust" with John Harkins at 8 a.m. Sunday morning (East and West coast times; check your local listings).  West Coasters can also look for it at 10 p.m. tonight followed by a Rhoda two-parter with DS alum David Groh.  The Rhoda eps ("Rhoda's Wedding" Pt 1 & 2) will be repeated Sunday at 5 and 5:30 p.m.

That actually was on earlier tonight for me.  ;) Darn Mary Tyler Moore ended the episodes of "The Jeffersons" that I was watching. :(

Who did David Groh play on DS?  I can't remember now.

They were tiny roles anyway.  He was a ghost summoned by Nicholas, minus the arm being used by Adam.  The second was as a hangman during Vicki's second 1796 hanging.  Episodes are #544, also #664 (thanks to Heather's capture currently on p. 1 of the Caption board, which shows Roger Davis and Carolyn Groves).

Also on TVLand this weekend, an episode of THE PATTY DUKE SHOW, produced by Robert Costello.

I realize this is totally OT, but I have to comment that I just adored David Groh's furry chest on Rhoda.

mmmm... MANFUR! *growl*

Both episodes (from The MTM Show and Rhoda) are classics of comedy.  Mary's inability to keep from laughing at the funeral is hillarious, and Phyllis forgetting to pick up Rhoda for her wedding is a howl.
