Update (sort of) on new DS Figures Release Date

According to MonstersinMotion.com, Majestic Studios has delayed the new figures until July.

"THIS ITEM HAS BEEN DELAYED BY THE MANUFACTURER UNTIL JULY OF 2005"

 I had thought they wouldn't come out until Fall, so they are apparently coming out sooner than I believed.

 Also, Wickedcollectibles.com will have them for pre-order soon.

I still haven't decided whether or not to pre-order them. I like being able to go the store and buy my figures, and when I move, I'll be around stores that may carry them.

I've heard the figures are supposed to be released in September.    I'm so anxious to get them, so I hope they come out by then.  In my mind, they're already a part of my collection.

  Same here Barnabas'Bride.  If I do decide to pre-order them, it'll be from Entertainment Earth or some other online retailer I'm more familiar with.  IMO, these are the coolest new DS collectibles in a long time.

ITA. I love 12" figures and I love DS, so they're automatically favorites in my collection.  I have dealt with Wicked Collectibles once before and everything went fine.

I got this email yesterday from Wicked Collectibles.  I decided to pre-order the figures from them.  Barnabas will have two figures as opposed to one figure with two different costumes.  Looks like the release is in fact for Fall.

That's reassuring. I was beginning to wonder why nothing has been said about them for a while.

September/October....they'll make a nice birthday present to myself.  I'm glad they're releasing the two figures of Barnabas and not just the one. I'd want to have both full versions anyway, and not just an extra head and outfit. I may preorder them from WC as soon as I can.

 I got this email from Wicked Collectibles about the DS figures.  Looks like the February release date is 'confirmed'. They are definitely still a couple of months away at least:

Our records indicate that you have placed an order for the Majestic Studios Dark Shadows 12" Figure set. We have just received an update concerning the shipping date on these figures. Currently the figures are in production and are due to ship from Hong Kong to Majestic Studios at the beginning of January. They are expecting to begin shipping to retailers toward the end of January possibly the beginning of February. We will begin processing orders as soon as we have confirmation that they are on the way to us. We expect to begin shipping your order no later than the middle of February. Any changes in status will be communicated to you as soon as we have updates.

I hope they're actually released in January and not pushed back again.... All the delays make me nervous.

Majestic Studios updated their website and the DS figures are there.

Hooray!  I got an Email from "Monsters in Motions" telling me that "late January to early February" is their 'date' to ship it.  I know that it will be worth the wait.
