This actually happens in the Dan Ross Novel Barnabas, Quentin and the Body Satchers. As far as it happening on the show, not to the best of my recollection.

Wouldn't that've been a great plot line, though?  (I also have a copy of the Ross novel.)  I'm sure if DS would've lasted, they would have done something along the lines of alien invaders.  By the way, what was the name of that Dan Curtis miniseries back in the early 90's about alien's abducting people for cross-breading purposes?
