Sorry for the back to back post. I just found out the name of the Lone Ranger's second album, which I thought was pretty neat. It is called "Barnabas Collins in Collins Wood" and the cover features Lone Ranger dressed as a vampire.
 Apparently his song "Barnabas Collins" (mentioned earlier in this thread) was "the biggest single Lone Ranger ever did," and the blurb on the following website describes the success of the song. The lyrics are pretty amusing for those who haven't heard it. He mentions Barnabas chewing on your neck "like a Wrigleys!"Â

 Note on the Damned too. On the album cover of their 1979 single "Love Song", Dave Vanian is holding the Barnabas cane. Vanian is a huge DS and horror film fan. When I saw them play on Halloween a few years back, he dedicated a song to Barnabas Collins and later on mentioned "the people of Collinsport, Maine."
